Integrated Recipe Content Management and Search Solution

Use case

Large food and beverage manufacturer needed a solution to manage its recipe content and expose it to consumers.

As part of the overall content management solution there was a need to structure the recipe content, normalize its format and enrich the data with nutrition data and diet tagging.

A key component of the customer experience and backend admin solution was the ability to search recipes and filter them by nutrition and diet tags.

Edamam’s solution

Edamam provided the client with a capability to automatically analyze all its recipes for nutrition content and enrich them with diet and health tags.

Once the recipes were analyzed they are made, close to real time, available in a private search space powered by Edamam’s intelligent recipe search engine.
